Big Daddy Tazz
Often described as one of the most talented comics in the business, Big Daddy Tazz has been delighting crowds from coast to coast at corporate events, fund raisers, festivals and on television for more than 30 years.
Today, audiences are happy to join him on his rapid cycle ride down the never-ending road to recovery as he tours North America, bringing his good mental health message to audiences, drawing rave reviews, and standing ovations!
Equal parts comedian and mental health advocate, Tazz educates, enlightens, and inspires. After 30 years of denying he had the mental illnesses that were controlling his life, Big Daddy Tazz realized that being a manic-depressive, attention deficit, socially anxious dyslexic could either destroy or enhance his life… the choice was his.
For the last 20 years, Big Daddy Tazz has brought light and laughter to those with mental illness by raising awareness of how stigma affects us all. Tazz believes in educating, embracing, and empowering everyone so we can all stand tall and give stigma a bad name.
His comedy appearances include the prestigious Just For Laughs festival in Montreal, the Moncton Comedy Festival, CBC’s The Debaters and the CBC Winnipeg Comedy Festival, which can be seen frequently on CBC television and the Comedy Network.
Whether it’s a corporate event or charity fundraiser, comedy show or mental health keynote seminar, Tazz will make you laugh until you cry and then laugh some more. It’s the bi-polar way.

Dr. Candace Campbell
Dr. Candace (Candy) Campbell, DNP, RN, CNL, CVP, CEP, LNC, FNAP, is an international speaker, award-winning actor, author, filmmaker... and nurse. She helps leaders in high-stakes industries become great communicators and create teams who function at the highest level to protect others.
Armed with her initial degree in Theatre/Acting, Campbell co-founded an improv and stand-up comedy company in the San Francisco area and, in 1995, began teaching team building to Silicon Valley start-up businesses, utilizing applied improvisational principles. Her doctoral work (qualitative, mixed-method, longitudinal study) on this method was completed at Stanford's Lucille Packard Children's Hospital (LPCH) with interprofessional groups of clinicians. The research was so notable that Stanford includes improvisational principles in the medical curriculum to this day.
Candy started Peripatetic Productions in 1995 as a vehicle to produce her first of three one-woman shows, which have all received rave reviews. The latest, Florence Nightingale:The Reluctant Celebrity, played off Broadway in 2023 and has been seen in 3 countries and several US cities, so far!
An award-winning actress (The Calling, released 2002), and film maker (Micropremature Babies: How Low Can You Go?), Campbell also writes children’s books, including, My Mom Is A Nurse; Good Things Come In Small Packages (I Was A Preemie); My Grandma Is a Nurse, and the series on applied improvisation from the arts, Improv to Improve Healthcare: A System for Creative Problem Solving and Improv to Improve Your Leadership Team: Tear Down Walls and Build Bridges.
Her research interests vary greatly, and have all come out of her clinical practice, including peer reviewed articles; a major motion picture film script about a nurse who goes to Vietnam, longitudinal qualitative study on the impact of a very-low-birthweight-infant on the family unit, which became an award-winning documentary film (Micropremature Babies: How Low Can You Go?), which has audiences on four continents, and more.
